The above photos and text aren't connected. The story in the text happened over shabbat so it was difficult to take photos. Shabbat on a Settlement is paired with photos from a much more established settlement, Kafr Tapuach, to give an idea of what it's like. Tapuach is, for lack of a better word, a mainstream settlement now, though its origins are associated with Kahane.
